GOVERNMENT FUNDED IT TRAINING

The Trade Adjustment Assistance(TAA) Program is a federal entitlement program that assists U.S. workers who have lost or may lose their jobs as a result of foreign trade. This program seeks to provide adversely affected workers with opportunities to obtain the skills, credentials, resources, and support necessary to become reemployed.

The State of California is now offering free training for your California based employees. The California Employers Training Panel (ETP) was instituted to combat the growing loss of jobs to other states, assist in combating out of state competition and keep employees’ skills up to date. BASICALLY, KEEP THE JOBS IN THE STATE. As an employer, there is no financial obligation for this training, it’s FREE.

California’s Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) was established in compliance with the Workforce Investment Act to provide customer-focused employment training resources for adults and dislocated workers. Training providers who are eligible to receive Individual Training.

As a leading computer training provider, Oxford Institute of Technology offers a number of courses for government employees and agencies that meet the standards of FISMA and DoD Directive 8570.1. This DoD training is offered as instructor-led courses taught by certified instructors who are well-versed in the 8570 Directive. Our DoD training will provide important information that is needed for individuals to achieve required information security certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, Advanced Security Practitioner, CEH v9, CISSP and ITIL. The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) works in partnership with consumers and other stakeholders to provide services and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living, and equality for individuals with disabilities. DOR administers the largest vocational rehabilitation and independent living programs in the country. Vocational rehabilitation services are designed to help job seekers with disabilities obtain competitive employment in integrated work settings. Independent living services may include peer support, skill development, systems advocacy, referrals, assistive technology services, transition services, housing assistance, and personal assistance services.
